Last night there was a news report of high winds in the outback kicking up billows of dust and sending it east. I figured this sounded like a right recipe for sunrise photography, and as usual, hauled myself out of bed for the spectacle.
Driving to the coast, I was disappointed by the lack of clouds. Ultimately, though, I don't think it mattered too much. I like it how it is. Comments
I love the colors of course, but the thing I like best is the shapes. The water looks like ghostly grasses spreading slowly over the rocks. I also enjoy your composition here, with the rocks and rough shape in one corner moving to the softer shapes in the other corner.
-- The window of war seemed very narrow indeed Thanks mate. I'm happy to claim the composition - the ghostly water was pure luck in timing though.

What also makes the photo outstanding is the color - far from vivid oranges or electric pinks of usual sunset/sunrise photos. The pale shades of peach-color make not only beautiful and calming sky, but also exist as reflections on the blue water creating an unique color composition.
To sum up - great work despite popular topic!
